Sick Care vs Health Care

Think about the thongs we do in our lives, not just in terms of our health but in many of our daily ritual.  It is more common for people to "wait" for a problem to happen as opposed to taking frequent but easy measures to prevent a crisis.

For example, many of us will never maintain our hot water heaters however when the day comes that the unit breaks we wish we would have while taking that cold shower!

Our cars require routine maintenance to run properly however many people wait too long until the car stops working.  Once it stops working we wish we would have taken better care of our car to prevent this major problem.

When it comes to the health of our bodies we seem to follow a trend of abusing it until we detect symptoms and seek the care of a healthcare professional.  I find it interesting that most people still do not know which foods are truly healthy for them and which foods are harmful.  What cooking methods are healthy and which are harmful.

For example, vegetables should always be eaten raw, not steamed or cooked because the healthy enzymes we ingest from the vegetables are destroyed.  These enzymes protect our bodies from pathogens, help us detoxify toxins and heavy metals from our system, and help us regenerate our cells to a state of perfection, without mutations.

A simple cleanse can do wonders for your digestive tract in removing decayed proteins and pathogens from the small and large intestines.

Practicing breathing in deep and exhaling slowly, inhale for a count of 8, hold for a count of 8, and exhale for a count of 8 will help relax your body, reduce stress, calm your mind, and help to oxygenate your cells.

Exercising for 30 minutes a day can add years to your total life expectancy, reduce the likelihood of arthritis, spinal degeneration, and dementia!

Taking these preventative measures can make all the difference in maintaining your health instead of waiting for a disease.
