COMFORT

Comfort is an amazing feeling especially when things seem uncertain and unfamiliar. Comfort brings peace, calmness, understanding, and familiarity to us and our environment.

For most people the feeling of comfort represents safety, sameness, and protection from the unknown. However there are two sides to every situation and I frequently challenge people on this concept of comfort.

I have seen many times in my own life, seeking comfort or sameness does produce predictability and boredom! I became more uncomfortable being comfortable, I was no longer growing or challenging myself to reach the potential my inner-being pushes me towards.

Our inner-self always has the perfect roadmap for our success even when it appears uncomfortable. Our physical brain can not necessarily figure out how something will work out in our favor. This sense of discomfort makes the physical brain seek some sense of comfort, this is where our inner-self, our heart is guiding us, leading us into what we truly desire.

Allowing the heart to guide instead of the physical brain takes incredible trust, knowingness, and belief that even before I attempt to change my life, I am already supported.

The physical brain is blinded by the unknown and will try to force the road of sameness and comfort onto you even if that means not achieving your ultimate goals and purpose in your life.

I have found in my life I must first acknowledge the unknown fear, almost like I am agreeing with my physical self that there is an unknown fear. However I do not give in to the fear and let it run my life, instead I begin visualizing my future with such intense feelings as though I am already living the reality I choose to see. This energy creates miracles time and time again for me and it will do the same for you as well!
