Heavy Metal Detox

There is so much to read about the subject of heavy metals that it become confusing, scary, and  misleading.  Some of the information on the internet are only designed to sell you a product that claims will "remove" heavy metals yet merely pump abrasive minerals into your body, not actually accomplishing its goal.

Heavy metals are found in our water supply, foods, meats, food packaging, medications, plastics, and many other sources.  Taking as many steps to avoid as much exposure as possible will help you prevent heavy metal poisoning.

There are a few foods and herbs that work incredibly well in pulling out metals, they are simple to find but make sure you find organic sources of these products:

Cilantro

Hawaiian Spirulina

Barley grass powder

Wild blueberries from Maine

Atlantic Dulce/ Seaweed

The above mentioned foods will all grab onto heavy metals such as mercury, aluminum, lead, cadmium, and nickel.  These metals are mostly found in our brain and liver, these foods have the ability to grab these metals from intricate cracks and crevices, safely removing metals from the body.  These foods can cross the blood-brain barrier, detoxifying the brain completely, unlike other detox programs that claim to rid all the metals .

The key is to slowly detox the metals by having only one teaspoon of the powders, mixed into water or coconut water and drink once per day for 4-6 months.  The cilantro and blueberries are 1 cup per day and can be mixed into a salad.

You will start feeling so much better once you begin this detox process!
