Natural Flu Shot

Every year we go through five seasons which are summer, winter, fall, spring, and the flu season!  Many people ask me about getting the flu shot vs avoiding it all together.  I always suggest that each person do their research and make an informed decision because there are a lot of toxins in the shot and negative side effects which may occur if someone has a hidden allergy to the preservatives in the shot.

The first truth to understand about the flu is that it is not this horrible virus that kills thousands of people per year.  In fact there are less than 1000 deaths per year in the United States caused by the true flu virus.  Most of the information the media spits out is actually lumping all diseases that have flu-like symptoms into one category called the flu however the cause of death is indeed not the flu virus.

Secondly, the flu can be easily prevented by simply washing your hands before touching anything that will enter your mouth,eyes, or nose.  These are the three common entry points for the virus and by keeping your hands and body clean you will definitely avoid the virus.

The virus has also been reported to be more prevalent during the spring and summer months yet most people are given a shot during the fall and winter months which should prove to you how strong your immune system really is.  Many time the hype from the media will actually blow the severity of something out of proportion.

The key factor to remember in preventing the flu is to strengthen the body as opposed to killing all viral strains in the body.  In fact research has proven that there are actually trillions of viral strains and any attempt to duplicate the strain into a vaccine will never work because once the virus enters a body it mutates and than is passed on to another host body.  This mean that virus "A" in my body is now virus "A-mutated" in yours and one remedy will never protect against trillions of possible strains.

In strengthening your body be sure to get a good amount of sleep, let go of your stress and worries, love yourself and your life, wash your hands and taking supplements to support the immune system will strengthen your body, reducing the chance of getting the flu.

Some of my favorite immune boosters are:

1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar into 8 oz. water 3-5 times per day.

Warm water with 1 tbsp. honey, lemon, and apple cider vinegar 1-2 times per day.

Echinacea 1-3 times per day.

Bioplasm cell salts 8-12 per day.

Vitamin D 1000-5000 mg per day in liquid form.

A whole food multi-vitamin.

Colloidal silver 2 oz. per day.

There are many other supplements that you may know, like, and trust.  Just pick the ones you like the most, keep your hands clean, avoid a lot of junk food, and laugh a lot!
