Why Dairy Is Dangerous

For many of us who remember the advertisements with the white moustache promoting dairy and the "so called" benefits we receive from drinking cow's milk and ingesting cow's cheese, the power of marketing can be very deceiving.

Unfortunately the human body does not have the ability to properly digest the lactose found in cow's milk.  Lactose is a long chain protein which is designed to support the large size of a baby cow which when born can weigh over 100 pounds.  These lactose proteins and the numerous protein strains found in cow's milk are very long and complex.  This makes it very hard for our digestive enzymes to break these proteins down and use them.

In comparison, human breast milk can be broken down by an infant in as little as 30 minutes where as cow's milk can take an infant up to 8 hours to break down 8 ounces of milk, an adult may take 6 hours.  The fact that cow's milk is not easily digested causes our immune system to become very aware of the cow's protein, causing "dairy sensitivity" which leads to severe inflammation and irritation in the large and small intestines.

This causes a strain on our ability to fight off infections from viral and bacterial origin, and promote yeast overgrowth leading to fungal infections and sinus infections.  Secondly, with the immune system already stressed from dairy, the immune system has a very hard time eliminating simple allergens such as pollen, dust, grass, and rag weed.

By eliminating dairy we see amazing results with people who suffer with seasonal allergies reporting that their symptoms are no longer present.  Dairy also causes a host of digestive disorders from bloating, Crohn's disease, Colitis, inflammatory bowel disorder, SIBO, IBS, and malabsorption issues.

I suggest replacing cow's milk with coconut milk and almond milk and replacing cow's cheese with goat cheese.  Consume more green veggies and drink water instead of dairy products and your 2017 will be much healthier!
